Maruti Suzuki’s SUV lineup could soon welcome a new addition to its lineup, believed to be a 7-seater version of the popular Grand Vitara, which has been spotted undergoing tests. As seen in the images, the model, which will compete with Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcaraz, retains the familiar design language of the standard Grand Vitara. However, it features a visibly extended rear section to accommodate the third row of seats. Moreover, while the front fascia remains hidden under wraps, hints of design inspiration from the electric e-Vitara are apparent, suggesting a slightly refreshed look.

Speaking of interiors, the 7-seater Grand Vitara is expected to sport a reworked cabin layout. We can expect the model to feature a larger, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard. Other upgrades could include the introduction of ADAS features and more.
